Puerto Vallarta New Experiences
Puerto Vallarta new experiences are for those of you looking for something a little different from the typical activities you can find for Puerto Vallarta.
We believe that Puerto Vallarta is the perfect mix of location, affordability, and convenience to make a fantastic, action-packed vacation. BUT also, it’s a great opportunity to try those things you might have always wondered about. Here are a few ideas to get you thinking…
Are you brave enough to take a Salsa class?
The Academia Salsa Class Vallarta comes highly recommended as the best place to learn Salsa, Bachata and Cumbia styles of dance. It’s best to reserve in advance and having a little Spanish will help. It’s perhaps a little “capricho” that you can do and cross off your bucket list
Why not learn Spanish in Puerto Vallarta?
The Spanish experience center has a good reputation and is in a nice location in Downtown Puerto Vallarta. Taking Spanish lessons is a great way to learn the essentials and brush up on your language skills. Also, meeting other like-minded folks is a great way to integrate into Puerto Vallarta whether you are here for a week, a month or more long-term.
Burn some extra calories with an intense Cross Fitness session
In the Hotel Zone, there’s an excellent gym in Plaza Caracol. Plaza Caracol is a large shopping mall so you could combine a crossfire experience with other activities. The reviews are good, there’s plenty of space, new equipment and drop-ins are welcome.
Dive into an art retreat and Art Workshops at Palos Studios
Bilingual, well-organized and experienced, Palos Studios offer 7-day intensive workshops in stone carving and clay modeling. Their workshops include a wide variety of experiences including gallery visits, discussions, and a sculpture tour of the Malecon boardwalk.
Do an authentic Mexican cooking class at Red Cabbage Cafe
Located on the south side on the Cuale River (very central), this small, stylish restaurant serves up dishes from all the different regions of Mexico. It’s not hard to find using the map at the top of the page, it’s just a little off the beaten track, but it’s definitely worth it. Red Cabbage Cafe won the Lux Life “most authentic Mexican restaurant” prize in 2018.
