Sunseeker Predator 64 (Why sleeping on a yacht is luxurious)
If you do a comparison to other modern yachts today, then you will understand that the word luxury is not an exaggeration when used to describe the Sunseeker Predator 64. It is a luxurious boat but with a surprising amount of practicality. For example, the cockpit looks medium size because it has many comfortable sofas. But the genius design element is they can be removed to make a much larger space on laid timber if needed.
The lounge and the rest of the interior are trimmed with satin-finished walnut, a pale colored wood which compliments abundant natural light. The saloon feels like it has space, with a beam of 4.66 meters. Again, the great design keeps this space minimalist with an adjustable table. All the modern conveniences are included such as a retractable 42 inch TV, Bose sound system, cocktail cabinet, and wine fridge.
The gallery is a nicely designed, well-ventilated space on the accommodation deck. Here there is a triple-hotplate stove, convection oven, coffee maker, large fridge freezer, all with self-closing drawers. There is also a cockpit electric barbecue, washing machine, and dishwasher. All of this makes the Sunseeker perfect for short term stays for informal dinners and family sized groups.
The sleeping accommodation is superb offering two double cabins and a luxury twin cabin, all with en suite bathrooms. Upright headroom is generous and visitors lying on the queen sized beds can look up through large windows, or at the flat screen TV. There is also a fourth cabin for either a minor or the ships captain on overnight stays away from Puerta Vallarta.
The garage on the Sunseeker Predator 64 can house a jet ski or the special equipment you need for your individualized trips. Equipment can also be stored on the boarding platform that hydraulically lifts it.
The Sunseeker Predator 64 has serious maneuvering power. Each thruster has 10.7 horsepower, and each MAN main engine has 1100 hp. When you have it moving faster it feels even better. It is generally considered one of the quietest yachts on the market. The 2200hp gives a top speed 32.5 knots, and a fast cruise of 26.5 knots. The speed range is about 260 miles.
With Suite Marine, you only pay for the time that the yacht is moving on the sea (the time the engine is running, yacht Captain included). So, if you consider a trip to the nearby Islas Marietas, for some snorkeling, the Sunseeker’s speed is to your advantage.
