Let’s take a tour of Puerto Vallarta marinas? Go north of Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita and stop off at Punta Sayulita?

Sayulita is a beautiful village just 40 minutes drive from Puerto Vallarta airport. It is easily accessible by yacht. You can jump into the bay marina there and walk along the beach. Perhaps you would like to spend some time in the exclusive Punta Sayulita Beach Club? There you can visit the spa, gym, pools, jacuzzi or try some water sports.

You private yacht captain anchor’s in one of the tranquil coves close to private shorelines such as The Four Seasons and Real del Mar. Perhaps you would like to stop for lunch before continuing on to dock at Marina Riviera Nayarit at La Cruz.

Playa Escondida (The Hidden beach) and the Marietas islands

From there you can sail out across Banderas Bay to the famous Playa Escondida. This trip takes a little planning and you’ll need to be a decent swimmer to access the beach, so please let us prepare it for you in advance.

Beautiful Yelapa

South of Puerto Vallarta there is the very authentic Yelapa marina which is really an old fishing village. Inaccessible via road, this beach you can only reach by boat where you will be rewarded with clean tranquil beaches, away from the noise and hustle of the city. When you get there, don’t forget to try a local delicacy of dessert pie sold by the locals on the beach. They are worth the trip by itself.

Majaguitas beach

Next stop playa Majahuitas. Some consider this beach the hidden gem on the tour and it’s easy to see why. This small cove has calm waters, tropical vegetation and a small reef with numbers underwater caves. This is an excellent location to try a little snorkeling.

Colomitos beach

We can also sail to the Colomitos beach. Colomitos is also an excellent spot to go snorkeling with a variety of tropical fish. It’s also a great location for lunch or dinner at the famous Ocean Grill restaurant, considered one of the best restaurants in the region. There are only two ways to get to this amazing place, by trekking through the jungle for 40 minutes or by boat.
